Parcels & Petals on In Colours ~ Thank You Cards

Hello and welcome back to my blog today.
Today I am sharing some cards that I have made using three of the gorgeous new in colours, Rococo Rose, Pretty Peacock (my personal favourite) and Terracotta Tile.
I am absolutely loving using the new colours and having so much fun.

I really wanted to also try out one of the brand new bundles...Parcels & Petals.
When I looked at this bundle, all I could think about was all the pretty boxes I could make with the gorgeous coordinating dies, however I really wanted to show how it's also a great set to make cards!

I have made a set of three cards showing off both the dies and the stamps. I hope that you get some inspiration.

Here's the set of three cards I made.
From the left: Rococo Rose, Pretty Peacock and finally Terracotta Tile.

I have combined a few products here. I sponged the background with a Sponge Brayer with the coordinating ink pads to create an ombre effect and then splattered water in my hand and flicked it over the cardstock to create that splattered look.
I love that about our inks...they react to water!

I have pulled in some embellishments like Linen Thread, Gold Glimmer Paper and some of those gorgeous Bird Ballad Trinkets. I have already gone through a whole packet of those!

Here's a close up of the embellishments.
As you can see I have also pulled in the coordinating In Colour Faceted Dots. These are so much fun and make great flower centres!

I have also used some of our gorgeous Burlap trim for some added texture.

I couldn't be done without making a coordinating envelope so I used the coordinating colour to the card and one of the gorgeous sentiments from the stamp set.

I couldn't have a naked inside either, so I have added some decoration here with a sentiment and I also pulled in the coordinating colour in the 6x6 DSP stack for a strip down the bottom.

I hope you got some inspiration today to use these pretty new in colours and the gorgeous Parcels & Petals bundle.

Back to the craft desk.

Happy crafting. xx

My Lover ~ Scrapbook Page

Hi there everyone and thank you for stopping by my blog today.
Today I wanted to share yet another scrapbook page that I have created using a different suite as my inspiration.

I had this black and white photo of my partner playing guitar that I really wanted to make the focus of my page. One of the more masculine suites from the catalogue (Sail Away) was my feature for this page as I loved the blues in the paper.

I paired this was some accessories from the Come Sail Away Memories and More pack and added some texture with the stamps from the Artisan Textures stamp set.

Here's a look at the completed page.
I do apologise...I need to work on my method of photographing scrapbook pages, it's something I have not done in a long time.

I pulled in the Lined Alphabet for my title (my love) which I have coloured with Night of Navy Stampin' Blends. I love the ombre look this provides.

I stitched this title down with some thicker thread on my sewing machine.

Here's a close up which shows both my journalling and also some of my embellishing.
My favourite part of scrapbooking is adding little embellishing touches to my page.
I loved the Memories & More pack for both the stickers and the gorgeous journalling block.

I added a stamp from the Forever Lovely stamp set (listed below). This is actually the sentiment that I am using on our wedding invites *wink* sneak peek of those will come soon.

I added the gorgeous anchor from the Sail Away Trinkets as Declan really is my anchor, so this was a great representation of my love for him.

Here you can see some more embellishing and some spritzing that I did with the Night of Navy Stampin' Write Marker. I also added some gorgeous Pretty Peacock Sequins from the Woven Thread Sequin Assortment.

I added some of the gorgeous Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine, knotting this on the ends for some added texture.

I love documenting these memories to treasure for a life time.

Stampin' Up! have so many great products for memory keeping.
You can see all the products I have used at the bottom of this post, and purchase them from my store.

Thanks so much for checking out my blog today, I hope you got some inspiration.

Happy crafting. xx

A Little Lace In Colour ~ Card Set

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
I am really LOVING and enjoying the new 2019-2021 In Colours: Pretty Peacock, Terracotta Tile, Seaside Spray, Purple Posy and Rococo Rose.

I really wanted to have a play making a set of cards that just featured this fabulous set of colours and I couldn't wait to combine it with a new bundle called A Little Lace, as it was perfect to feature the cardstock with that gorgeous lace background die!

I made a card in each of the colours and tied in with some coordinating products like those gorgeous In Colour Faceted Dots!

I can't wait to give these to my lovely friends.

Here's a look at the set altogether, as I couldn't get them all in frame to take a photo but really wanted to have at least one photo that showed them all lined up. Aren't the colours just stunning?

I'd love to know which one is your favourite?

No guesses probably needed for mine *wink*
PRETTY PEACOCK!

Here's a look at the first three cards.
From left to right: Pretty Peacock, Terracotta Tile and finally Seaside Spray.

As you can see I have used the large floral piece from the A Little Lace stamp set, which I have embossed in gold on white cardstock and fussy cut out.

The other two colours featured are.
From left to right: Purple Posy and Rococo Rose.

As you can see I have tied in some coordinating product including the gorgeous In Colour Scalloped Linen Ribbon and the beautiful Faceted Dots. We also have amazing sequins from the Woven Threads suite that are actually in the new colours. How cool is that?

I had to naturally give a close up of one of the cards, and chose Pretty Peacock...of course ;)
I love the touch of gold to give these cards a regal feel.

I have also backed the lace backing into some Basic Black cardstock to make it really pop.

I spritzed some Wink of Stella in clear over the background for some added sparkle.

You know me...I couldn't be done until I had decorated the inside.
I stamped the large floral in the coordinating colour to the card.

I hope you enjoyed a look at some cards I have made using these gorgeous new colours.

Be sure to check below for all the links and products I have used in my cards today, these will link you directly to my store.
