Ink It! Stamp It! Blog Hop June ~ Annual Catalogue Theme

Welcome to the Ink It! Stamp It! Blog Hop for June. This month we will be sharing projects inspired by the theme of using products from the brand new Annual Catalogue. The full line up below will guide you through all the projects and we'd love to hear from you on what you favourite product out of the new catalogue is!

Today I am using my personal favourite from the new catalogue and that is the beautiful Follow Your Dreams Bundle. Dream catchers are a personal favourite of mine and I just adore them!
When I saw this bundle when I first peeked at the new catalogue I just fell in love and knew I HAD to have it!

We all have that 'must have' in the new catalogue. I'd love to know yours....?

So without further rambling from me, here is a look at the card I made for this blog hop.

Here's a look at my finished card. I used a mixture of new blues and reds including; Blueberry Bushel and Poppy Parade with touches of Coastal Cabana and Gold.
I softened the colours by adding some vellum over the gorgeous Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper and love how it turned out.
I felt the night sky design on this patterned paper really tied in well with the dreamcatcher theme.

I loved adding touches of gold and touches of machine stitching to my project!

Here's a close up of my finished card.
I was really inspired by the lovely Dena Rekow with her 'splatters' and achieved this with a simple Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. I love adding these for a little 'extra' to a card.

I also used another new product from the new catalogue and that is the Stampin' Emboss Powder in Basic Black. I actually stamped the dreamcatcher in Versamark and embossed in Black.
This has to be seen in person to be appreciated to it's full potential. I would definitely recommend adding some to your next order, it won't disappoint!

I added touches of some other of my favourites including the GORGEOUS Glitter Enamel Dots in the brand new colours. I am going to go through A LOT of packets of those. They are absolutely yummy!

Here's a look at the fun colour combination I used for today's card.

Here's a look at the decorated inside to my card where I kept it simple with a simple double matt and a beautiful sentiment from the stamp set, stamped in Blueberry Bushel.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my card today and hope that you will check out all the other gorgeous blogs in the blog hop.
Thank you so much for joining us on the hop today. I hope you enjoyed seeing all the gorgeous projects and hope that you will join us next month for our blog hop featuring Technique themed posts.

June Go For Greece Blog Hop ~ You are The Greatest Card

Hello everyone and welcome to another Go For Greece Training Group Blog Hop!
You are visiting Kayla MacAulay's Blog from Tasmania, Australia.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and I am really excited to be part of this amazing hop with a great bunch of talented creators!

Today I am sharing a card I CASE'd from Stampin' Up!'s lovely samples they posted introducing the brand new Stampin' Up! colours.

I find CASE'ing sometimes a great start off point when playing with a new stamp set and I really loved the beautiful greens featured on the card they shared. This card uses the lovely Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce which are both brand new greens to the Stampin' Up! family.
I also played with a brand new stamp set bundle called Tropical Chic which features stunning tropical elements.

I hope you enjoy my post and card share today and be sure to check below for links to the rest of the amazing blogs that have taken part in this amazing hop.

Here's a look at the card that I made using a fun repetitive stamped background on white card stock using just one colour, Granny Apple Green. This is one of my favourites of the new colours!

I have used a strip of Shaded Spruce for the sentiment to really make it 'pop'.

I stamped the flowers in more new colours, Petal Pink and Lovely Lipstick and used a sponging technique to get the two toned flower.
To do this I inked up my stamp in petal pink and simply sponged the edges of the stamp using a Sponge Dauber in Lovely Lipstick.

Here's a look at the header for the great blog hop that I am taking part in today.

Here's a close up of my finished card. I accented the card with some Linen Thread which is my absolute favourite and I order more every time I place an order because I just can't get enough of it!
I also used the brand new Glitter Enamel Dots in the coordinating Granny Apple Green to accent my card. Because of the background I felt this card didn't need to much embellishment.

I have stamped and die cut a couple of the images using coordinating colours. One was stamped and one was simply die cut out of Granny Apple Green to layer.

Here's a look at the completed inside of my card. I always like to make a coordinating insert for the inside so once again stamped and added one of those gorgeous flowers with a coordinating sentiment from the stamp set. I love the font in those sentiments, it's gorgeous.

I hope you enjoyed my card I have shared today.
Be sure to hop along and check out the rest of the amazing blogs that have taken part:

Happy crafting! xx
