Follow Your Art ~ You Make Everything Sparkle

Hello and welcome back to my little old blog.
Thanks for popping by today.

I wanted to share with you a super fun and bright card I made inspired by a card I saw in the catalogue featuring the sequin stamp from the Follow Your Art Stamp set.
I was really inspired to make an 'arty' card with a cascade of sequins flowing over it.

I had a lot of fun stamping all those sequins and then colouring them with my Stampin' Blends in Daffodil Delight, Pool Party and Calypso Coral.

Here you can see the finished card.
I have pulled in some of the fun Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper as a layer to tie it all together, and pulled apart the embellishment kit you can purchase as part of the Follow Your Art suite.
The embellishment kit has these super fun paperclips, felt embellishments and fun twine which I have used on the card.

I have also used some other fun products including the gorgeous Follow Your Art Washi Tape and the Follow You Art Dies to create that fun 'button' with stitched edging.

As per usual, I decorated the inside of the card with a fun sentiment and some more fun sequins.

I hope you liked seeing my card today made with this fun suite.

Happy crafting. xx

Bird Ballad ~ Laser Cut Notecards

Hello there lovely and welcome to my blog, thanks for stopping by.

Today I wanted to share with you some lovely notecards I made using the gorgeous Bird Ballad suite of products.

I actually made these ones a while ago and have had them sitting here to share with you all. I have been a slack blogger and need to get better at scheduling my posts!

I actually ordered these products when I attended the Onstage event in New Zealand back in April and these were one of the first things that I created when I received my gorgeous PPP box.

The gorgeous designs in the paper and that gorgeous bird stamp had my heart fluttering!

Here's the set of three cards I made, each with the laser cut notecards (that come in the cutest tin!) and each featuring a gorgeous Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.

I love that when Stampin' Up! design their papers they usually have a busier side and a more subtle side to each, it really gives you a lot of possibilities with the paper!

I had a lot of fun colouring these gorgeous birds with a mixture of my Stampin' Blends and making each bird slightly unique in it's own way.

You can see all the products I have used to make these cards linked below.

This is probably my favourite of the three cards as I just love that gorgeous yellow DSP.
I have accented each card with some of the beautiful Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim and finished it with a gorgeous Bird Ballad Trinket. I have used so many of those trinkets that I had to order three packets!

Another feature of the Bird Ballad suite that I just love is those super versatile and fun Stitched Nested Labels dies. Those dies are so versatile for so many cards from any suite and any stamp set! They are a must have in every craft stash!

This is one of the more busy patterns, but I just loved these fun birds in the background combined with the sweet pink polka dot patterned paper.

I have only used the tiniest amount of Tombow Glue on the back of the lace cards to adhere the designer paper.

You can see in the photo below, I have also adhered cardstock to the back of the back, otherwise you would see the reverse design upon opening the card.

I couldn't not stamp the inside of the card, so I used one of the sentiments from the Bird Ballad Stamp set to finish these notecards off.

I hope you liked seeing my set of cards using this suite today.

Don't forget to see all the products I have used linked below, which you can purchase in my store.

Happy Crafting. xx

Woven Threads ~ Sisters Scrapbook Page

Hello lovely  blog readers and thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.
It has been a little while, I am so sorry!
I have come down with a nasty winter virus and have laryngitis and a mild case of pneumonia.
Let's just say, lots of rest time was in order!

I wanted to come by and share some crafting with you however, as it has not stopped me from being at my craft table when I can.

Here is a scrapbook page I made recently inspired by the gorgeous Woven Threads Designer Series Paper.

I have really loved getting back into scrapbooking when I can and our Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers are perfect for this.

I have this photo of my younger sister and I taken earlier this year and I really wanted to document this, I love memory keeping and documenting these precious memories.

I have used quite the mixture of stamp sets and dies and even the new Four Petal Punch!
you can see all the supplies I have used linked below.

I must admit that I have a bit of a love affair with the Well Written Dies. They are great for titles for scrapbook pages, as sentiments for cards and all sorts. I have used them a lot!
Here I have cut the word 'friend' several times from a piece of Woven Threads DSP to create a thicker, layered look.

I used the Four Petal flower punch and the Woven Threads DSP again to create a flower accent and finished this with one of the Perennial Essence floral centres. I love those things and have already been through a WHOLE PACKET! Yep...I love them that much!

Here's a close up of the journalling and some more of the accents.
Another favourite of mine is also the Sahara Sand Woven Threads Trim. If you trim the bottom from it, you get this fun tassel edged trim. How fun is that?

I hope you liked this look at one of my latest scrapbook pages!

Don't forget to see all the products I have used below and linked to my store where you can purchase them all for yourself.
