Friday Crazy Crafter Highlights - Celebrate the Good Stuff

 Hi everyone!
After my week of sharing all the amazing Onstage highlights (there is still a few more things to come!) I thought I would pop by and share one of the cards I made using a BRAND NEW stamp set that we received in our conference bags.
The ribbon in the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set jumped out at me as soon as I saw it and I knew the perfect person to make this card for, so I set to work.

Here's a look at the whole stamp set (with the others I received at Onstage)

I used bright, happy and fun colours to really make this a FUN card and everyone that knows me will know that I absolutely LOVE working with bright colours.
My favourite Stampin' Up! colours are always Lemon Lime Twist and Bermuda Bay! I have used both of those colours on this card with the addition of Berry Burst and Peekaboo Peach!

I grabbed out the white embossing powder to accentuate one of the sentiments in the stamp set.
This card is actually CASE'd from the front cover of the new Occasions catalogue. I added my own touches to make it suit what I was working with.

To stamp the ribbon bows I have stamped off once for the base image and then gone back with full strength ink with the second stamp which makes the bows appear 3D. Stampin' Up! really do think of everything!

The other new product I used on this card were those gorgeous glittery enamel dots that look like rain drops. Aren't they cute? I think I will be hoarding A LOT of those in my craft stash!

I finished off the card with the ticket tear border punch with a bit of Peekaboo peach and some Black Metallics Thread and Gold Mini Sequin Trim.

It really is a simple card but I love the way it turned out and I hope the person that receives this card loves it.

Be sure to go and check out all the other Crazy Crafter Blogs that have participated in this week's highlights. There are always amazing projects to inspire you!

If you liked my card and would like to vote for it, feel free to leave your vote here.

Happy stamping!

xx

More Onstage 2017 Recaps...

I am back again today with another Onstage November 2017 recap post.
I met all these amazing ladies, saw all these amazing things and more and I just wanted to share it with you all. Onstage really is the best experience and I love being a demonstrator because that means I can experience all of this!
I'd recommend joining Stampin' Up! in a heartbeat. The experience is mind-blowing and you make friends for life! If you want to know more about joining my Stampin' Up! team never feel afraid to send me an email and I can talk you through why it's such an amazing decision!

I was lucky enough to be at Onstage with 37 other members of my Stampin' Up! team - The Crazy Crafters and they are such a lively and fun bunch. They are lifelong friends.

One of my downline and friends Jodie came with me to Melbourne and it was her first Onstage experience and she loved it. Here we are after being given the new catalogues for the first time. Of course we wanted to dive right in and get to seeing what gorgeous new products were inside!

As a part of Onstage you get given a conference bag which is personalised to each Onstage event and better still, it's filled with free goodies! It's so worthwhile going. Event registration is only $120 for the day but the goodies you get in your bag well surpass that investment!
Pictured here is my conference bag, the beautiful Stampin' Up! mug that we received (perfect for a coffee while browsing the catalogue), our lanyard with name badge and awards, a special 30th anniversary pin, the catalogues, a 6 month planner/diary, Stampin' Up! pens, THREE amazing new stamp sets, an ink pad, a set of four mini punches, a circle punch, some embellishments from the new catalogue and some gorgeous black rhinestones which were a gift from our team leader Kylie.

Our team leader Kylie was so kind to give us a beautiful handmade card with a message inside. So thoughtful and kind. It really is like a big crafting family.
I was also lucky enough to receive a ribbon for both recruiting and leadership which was pretty cool!

Here's a look at the conference room (and this is only part of it) as we are very attentively watching a presentation on the screen by the lovely Shannon West (she is just the best!)

Another really cool part of Onstage is that they have display stampers that get some of the new product before Onstage and so we get to see lots of beautiful artwork by lots of different demonstrators across Australia showing off the new suites and stamp sets in the catalogue.
Below are some pictures of some of the samples.

These above samples were by the lovely Bronwyn Eastley who is also a fellow Tasmanian demonstrator and she did an absolutely stunning job shooting off a firm favourite new suite which features dragons, knights, mermaids and other mythical creatures. I think it's going to be a hot seller!

I just had to Ooohhh and Ahhh over the lovely Chloe Evan's work. She is a lovely demonstrator (and I just love her accent) and a very talented stamper! She had a play with some of the beautiful new sets and suites in the catalogue and did a fabulous job.

Some more gorgeous samples featuring the beautiful fruit and bird banter sets. I love the bright colours and happy feeling of these samples!

This was probably my favourite display piece! It was absolutely stunning. I didn't catch who this was created by, but whoever it was did a fabulous job!

Some more samples from another couple amazing suites.
I think these are also going to sell like hotcakes in the catalogue. So many possibilities!

Here's a close up look at the three sets that I won and had in my conference bag. This is a bit of a sneak peek from the new catalogue. I can't wait to ink these up!
In fact my son has already been playing with the Magical Day set. Which little boy wouldn't love knights and dragons?

Mummy is still pretty protective over her ink pads after a few little 'accidents' Haha!

Come back tomorrow as I share the swaps I made for Onstage and the ones I received in return!
Australia is home to lots of amazing paper crafters and stampers!

Happy stamping.

Onstage November 2017 - Product Samples & More

I was so thrilled to be able to attend the Melbourne Onstage 2017 event on the weekend. It was my third Onstage event and it's fair to say that I am totally hooked and can't see myself missing one any time soon!
I just love catching up with all my crafty friends that are much like family!

Today I wanted to share with you all, what I think you want to see the most - WHAT'S NEW!
Enjoy the sneak peeks
(p.s. I can't share the inside of the catalogue just yet, but you can reserve your copy now)
See link below.

Now here's what you have been waiting for, all the gorgeous sneak peeks!

This is one of our gorgeous birthday suites.
We actually got the stamp set from this collection FREE in our conference bag (another great perk of being a demo and being able to attend these events) I love the bright and happy colours in this collection and those ruffled ribbons and beautiful binder clips I think will be jumping their way into my shopping cart.

This is probably my favourite of the suites, but I am sucker for anything Valentines Day. Not to mention I do love gold and sparkles, so I am all set!
The papers are also stunning, with lots of gold foil accents!

A great birthday kit that comes with a gorgeous birthday box so that you can organise all your birthdays by the month and even create some gorgeous matching cards to go inside.
Complete with a matching stamp set.

Another one of my favourite suites is this Tutti Fruiti collection. I love the beautiful summer colours and the gorgeous fruit. For those that don't know, pineapples are like my favourite thing ever!
This suite is made for me. The gorgeous embellishments are great. Look at those beautiful sequins!

This magical suite was another firm favourite. I was lucky enough to WIN the stamp set in a prize patrol so I was super happy. I love the mythical creatures and images and I think my three year old will adore this set. I totally love that they have brought back the coloured glimmer paper and in my favourite colours!

I think we were all BLOWN away by the gorgeous BRUSHO colours. These are brand new to Stampin' Up! and offer the coolest watercoloring possibilities. This is only the tip of the iceberg. I can't wait to see that amazing things that will be created with these!

A closer look at our Stampin' Blends that were released recently. These are going to be a big hit!

Our all inclusive project kit that comes with all the supplies needed to create these gorgeous cards including the stamp set, acrylic block, ink and even the watercolour pencils.
The cool thing is that this kit will also come with a refill incase you want to make more but don't need to buy the stamp set all over again!

I'm pretty excited about this gorgeous suite. The imagery is just beautiful and I love those little birdies. It does come with a pretty cool Memories & More card pack. The colours are stunning.
We actually got to have a little bit of a play with this suite and it's going to be gorgeous, especially those metal charms.

Here's a bit of a peek of the first release of freebies that you will be able to earn during Sale-a-Bration which is our biggest SALE of the year. Stay tuned for more details.

A look at some of our gorgeous bundles. These are stamps that coordinate with matching dies. There are some show stopped in here. I personally just LOVE the roller coaster. It's something totally different.

The last suite I am going to share with you is this one and it's another great feminine suite with lots of awesome coordinating embellishments and accessories. My personal favourite is that gorgeous 3D sequin embossing folder (I included a close up) and the AWESOME additions to the embossing paste line with silver and iridescent pastes available.

I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek post.
Don't forget to reserve your catalogue so I can ensure I can get one in the post to you!
There are so many amazing things inside and what better time to shop in the year when you can receive freebies!!

Until next time, much crafty love. xx
