Stampin’ Up! Sending Sunshine ~ Card

Hey guys!
Happy Friday, I hope you have some crafty plans for the weekend!

Today I am sharing with you a card that I made on a recent Facebook Live over on my business Facebook page. Be sure to go and check out my page and follow to stay up to date with all my posts and live videos.

This card uses the beautiful new Sending Sunshine Stamp. I was so keen to CASE a catalogue sample and make it my own, and I will admit, I went live on Facebook with NO plans at all and was just winging it. Watch for a silly and non censored/unplanned crafting session with Kayla. You can see the link to the video below.

I have listed all the products I have used in today's project at the bottom of this post, all of which are available in my store here.

Here's a look at my finished card.
This card really focused on some sponging/colouring with a fun variety of inks including - Crushed Curry, Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie and Calypso Coral!
Such a beautiful sunset combination.
I have then completed my stamping from the Sending Sunshine Stamp Set in Staz On Black. Such a fun effect!

See the video below for exactly how I achieved this...

Here's a look at the fun colour combination that I have used:

Here's a close up look at the finished card where you can see some of the texture and detail.
I have stamped the water several times using the Sending Sunshine Stamp in Staz On black for a nice jet black feels.

I have then embellished with some spritzes of Wink of Stella and some of the Artistry Blooms Sequins - these were the perfect match thanks to my lovely Facebook Live followers that helped me. choose these!

I have then stamped and fussy cut the sentiment using some Terracotta Tile ink.

Here's a look at the decorated inside of my card where I have added layers of Whisper White and Basic Black with some stamping in Staz On and some Mango Melody. Perfect!

I realised that I haven't shared this here yet either - but it's a new month - HELLO JULY!

Stampin’ Up! ~ Creating Kindness July Blog Hop

Hello everyone!
I am so excited as today I am taking part in an amazing blog hop as a guest designer, the awesome Creating Kindness Blog Hop.
This is a blog hop that has demonstrators and crafters from all over the world sharing paper crafting and the things that they love most!

This month the theme is art inspiration and what inspires us to create or something that inspires us to create, whether that be a famous work of art or whatever you choose.

I actually regularly ponder Pinterest and find a lot of art that inspires me whether that be prints, watercolour paintings, graphic design and lots more.
You can actually see this Pinterest Board if you like, visit it here.

See below for a picture of the art that inspired today's creation and it's one that you will recognise very well soon....but that's a sneak peek! *wink* Will share more on that soon, I promise! xx

See below at the bottom of the post for links to all the blogs that have taken part in today's hop, as well as a list of all the products I have used in today's project, all of which are available in my store here.

Here's a look at my finished card.
I was so inspired to watercolour this feather from the gorgeous Tasteful Touches stamp set and go with my favourites colours of blues and greens!
The inspiration came from this beautiful graphic that I have had saved for a long time on my inspiration board on Pinterest.

I went along with the theme of a loosely watercoloured image and simply stamped my feather in Staz On Black so that it would not be affected by the water I added when I went to watercolour.
I have then used a combination of; Granny Apple Green, Just Jade and Pacific Point Inks to loosely watercolour with my Water Painters around the feather.
Tip: When doing techniques like this it is best to use a suitable cardstock that can withstand that water and not cause the fibres to break. In this case I have used some of our Shimmery White Cardstock.

I then added some layers of Basic Black Cardstock and some of the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper with a very thin strip and accented this with some Linen Thread before adding a layer of Crumb Cake Cardstock.

Here's a little look at the colour palette that I used for the card today...

To embellish I have added some of Wink of Stella spritzing and of the fabulous Elegant Faceted Gems.

I have also added a sentiment which I have heat embossed in white on some Crumb Cake Cardstock and fussy cut this out!
I have adhered the whole sentiment with Liquid Glue, apart the 'you' which I adhered with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

Here's a look at the inside of the card where I have added some layers of Crumb Cake and Whisper White along with some stamping in Just Jade from the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set along with a sentiment stamped in Memento Black and another strip of Forever Greenery DSP with some Linen Thread.

I hope my card provided some inspiration for you all to take those pieces of art or graphics you find and be inspired to create with them!
You will be surprised just how much around you that you can gain inspiration from!
