Stitched all Around - August Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to another Artisan Design Team blog Hop. You are visiting Kayla's blog from Australia and I am really excited to be sharing some projects today using the Stitched All Around Bundle combined with some of the gorgeous Share What You Love papers.

Be sure to check out below for links to the rest of the blogs and links to all the supplies I have used.

These were amazing products to work with....

I really enjoyed working with this bundle, in fact it has fast become one of my favourites from the catalogue. The dies in this bundle are AMAZING and have so much intricate stitching detail.
The card to the left with the Rich Razzleberry tones actually uses one of the dies from the bundle which doesn't cut at all, it just creates a subtle stitched feature. I am going to be using that die lots!

I then cut out one of the labels in Mint Macaron and simple cut out the centre with a craft knife and placed a sentiment stamped on white behind. I distressed the edges of the label with the edge of my scissors and slightly rolled the cardstock for that 'peeled back and distressed' look.

The card on the right I used my favourite patterned paper from the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper. It has a gorgeous pearl finish and really makes a card without having to add too much at all. I used one of the smaller labels with a stamped sentiment and die cut out some beautiful Gold Glimmer hearts using the dies (these actually have a really cool stitched edge!) I added some Blossoms Elements and some of that beautiful Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon!

The last card I made from this set I used more of the paper but this time added in the absolutely stunning Delicate Lace Edgelits Dies. These are just stunning! It added the perfect accent to the card. I used another one of the dies from the Stitched All Around bundle for my sentiment which became the centrepiece and then embellished with more Blossoms Elements and Metallic Sequins and of course Linen Thread..but anyone that knows Kayla, knows that goes on everything!

Here's a close up of the finished card so you can see some of the texture and dimension on these cards. This is a bundle that I am definitely going to be playing with a lot more as it's a lot of fun and has so much delicate and intricate elements that are a lot of fun to mix and match!

Some close ups of the individual finished cards.

And a little look at how I decorated one of the insides. I always do an inside for my cards which is usually double matted, as I spend so much time on the outside, I think why not do a quick inside to finish it off beautifully?

Thanks so much for reading my blog today.
The next lovely blog in the blog hop is the ever so gorgeous Kim McGillis...

Go for Greece Blog Hop ~ You are my Missing Piece

Hello and welcome to another Go For Greece Blog Hop. You are visiting Kayla MacAulay's blog from Tasmania, Australia and I love that you have stopped by!
This blog hop is a collection of demonstrators all who have been working on their businesses this year in the hopes of earning the Stampin' Up! incentive trip to Greece. How amazing would that be?
Stampin' Up! really does reward their demonstrators so well and we are lucky to have a demonstrator like Kylie that organises all this fabulous training!

Today I am sharing a card that I made specially for my one year anniversary with my amazing partner Declan yesterday. When I saw the 'Love you to Pieces' bundle in the new annual catalogue I just knew that I had to buy it to make something for Declan.
I always tell him that he was my missing piece and so it was just perfect!

I didn't really know where to start so I actually CASE'd one of the catalogue samples and used different colours (see below)

I hope you enjoy my card share today...

My favourite colours are Lemon Lime Twist and Coastal Cabana. Can you tell?
My new favourite texture though is the Burlap Ribbon and I have just finished my roll...time to order more!

I am absolutely loving the Big Shot Embossing mats and they make so much more use out of your dies because instead of every die being able to cut, it can now emboss too!
I cut a few puzzle pieces out of Lemon Lime Twist and Coastal Cabana to also accent the card and added some smaller Sahara Sand puzzle pieces in there too.

Here's a look at the Stampin' Up! card that I CASE'd. I love going back to the catalogue for inspiration when I don't have any. That's what is amazing about the catalogue, it's a GIANT idea book!

Here's a close up of the finished card. I added lots of different embellishments including the pearl doilies (folded in half) and some of the gorgeous new Glitter Enamel Dots in Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green.

My favourite bit of the card however is the sentiment and how cool is it that the die cuts it into a love heart puzzle? I just love that!

I stamped on the background with one of the floral stamps tone on tone in Crumb Cake as a bit of an accent to the background. I also added a layer of Sparkle Glimmer Paper for a bit of oomph!

I couldn't be finished without adding a decorated inside so I added a coordinating sentiment which fit perfects and did a bit of Ombre stamping with the Stamparatus on one of the puzzle piece stamps. I finished with some more Glitter Enamel Dots.

Here's an image of some photos of my partner and I's first year together that I shared with him yesterday. A lot has happened in a year and I have him to thank. He really did change my life in so many amazing ways, and we are engaged to be married in October next year!
So many exciting things happening!

I hope you enjoyed my card share today and please do hop along to all the other blogs to see all their amazing creations!

Happy Stamping! xx

p.s. In the product supplies listed below you will see I have included 12x12 Cardstock, the Envelope Punch Board and the Make a Difference Stamp Set. I used all these things to make a coordinating envelope that this card would fit into perfectly and even better, I got to decorate it to match the card perfectly!
