Really I just wanted to pull out those Stitched framelits dies and give them a go!
Speaking of which if you really want to get your hands on those before they SELL OUT, get in quick as they won't be order able from the 22nd of November since they totally exceeded the company's expectations and sold out so quick!
Don't they look amazing?
You can find them in my shop here under the tab, stitched from the heart.
DON'T FORGET ~ There are also lots of stamp sets marked down by 25% that coordinate with these stitched framelits dies. I've already taken advantage of that bargain.
So here's the card I made.
I pulled out quite a few supplies so check the bottom of the post for a full supplies list.
I have been really enjoying the 'spritzing' technique which is something I have learnt off the dear Dena Rekow (hoping I spelt her name right). This time I have used the Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Write marker to achieve the spritzed look. I have also gone in with the Flirty Flamingo ink and added some watercolour to pick up my sentiment taken from the Tin of Tags stamp set (totally not just for Christmas).
I love how the stitched circle really makes the sentiment look finished. Those that know my work will know that I love to add stitching, so to have a product that does it for me is just the best! I have matted my sentiment on some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and one of the gorgeous In Colour 2015-2017 doilies. I am going to be sad when they retire as Mint Macaron is one of my favourite colours.
The card wouldn't of course be finished without some of my stitching, so I have added some to the very top of the card to hold my Designer Acetate in place over the gorgeous Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper. I love the effect that this achieved.
I hope you have enjoyed reading today.
Don't forget, if you would like to request one of the brand new Sale-A-Bration and Occasions Catalogue, get your name on the list and I will pop one in the post to you as soon as they have arrived to me.
