#GDP075 You Amaze Me

I've been a bit missing in action these last couple of weeks.
All I can say, is life is a treasure, hug those that are close!

I did also have the pleasure of heading down South of this lovely state to see some bands of my child hood. If you are also a 90's baby you will remember S Club 7, East 17, B*witched, Atomic Kitten and Liberty X. Yep...I saw them live. I even got in the lift with S Club 7 which was pretty cool!

I also had the pleasure of running my very first card buffet event at a local hall and the ladies loved it. Six different cards and baskets with everything they needed to complete each. It was a lot of fun and great to catch up with likeminded crafters.

So I thought I would give the Global Design Project Challenge a go this week.
The theme this week is things with wings! How easy peasy!
There are so many stamp sets that would fit this theme including the gorgeous butterfly set I have used, the new Dragonfly Dreams set or even the Sale-a-Bration Hey Chick set.

I have to say I am totally SMITTEN with the Watercolour Wings stamp set, however I have not used it near enough and I am so scared that it will retire with the release of the new annual catalogue so I have decided to pull it out and use it now!
I need to keep a collection of these stamps I want to use NOW on my desk, otherwise it just won't happen.

I have used a bit of a collection of inks including; Mint Macaron, Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral but I think this card would be so easily mixed up by just changing the colour scheme and that is what I might do.

I have added one of the gorgeous Sending Love wooden heart embellishments from the Occasions catalogue and finished that with some gorgeous linen thread, metallic thread and some rhinestones.

Of course, what card would be completed without a decorated inside? This is something I am becoming a lot better at now as I hate to think how long I spend decorating the outside, to then not decorate the inside!

There are lots of other exciting things going on at Stampin' Up.
They have just released THREE brand new Sale-a-Bration products which you can see below. Free for each $90 spend.

And I have released my second ever STAMPS BY MAIL class where you an get all the supplies to make six exclusive cards for $25 OR you buy the Lift me Up Bundle and receive the class FREE!

SHOP ONLINE: My online store is open 24/7 and you can always shop for the supplies I have used to create any of the projects on my blog. Click on the images of the products at the bottom of the post to be taken right to my online store.
