Life is a Beautiful Thing ~ PPP Blog Hop

Welcome to another Crazy Crafter's Blog Hop. You may be starting the blog hop right here on my blog or you may have come from elsewhere. Either way I hope you enjoy and please be sure to scroll down and check out all the other blogs on the list.

This blog hop we are featuring the brand new products from the upcoming annual catalogue that we either purchased from our PPP (product purchase premiere at Onstage) or through the Eastern Palace pre-order.

I am happy to have both and boy was it hard to choose what to create for this blog hop with so many new goodies to play with.

I ended up settling for the Colourful Seasons suite of products featuring the beautiful Berry Burst, Old Olive and Crushed Curry colours.

I have teamed these gorgeous products with the beautiful Gold Glimmer paper which really made the project shine. I have also added the gorgeous Stitched Shapes framelits in ovals to accentuate this gorgeous sentiment "Life is a Beautiful Thing" and then inside I have added "Just Breathe".

Here is a full look at the card.
I love how it turned out.
I used the 6x6 designer paper stack with the ombre effect paper to create the scallops using the matching ' Seasonal Layers Thinlets Dies'.  I really really want to try a monochrome effect card with the same technique.

Here's a bit of a close up. I decided to feature a lot of gold on this card with the gorgeous gold glimmer paper both behind the oval layer and also one of the intricate leaf patterns out of the matching Colourful Seasons Thinlets set.
I also gold embossed the veins on the autumn leaves.

What a perfect card for Autumn which we are experiencing here in Tasmania at the moment.
Although having said that in Tasmania where I live we get a harsh winter and then Summer. We don't tend to get in between seasons.

Here is the inside of the card.
I thought it was the perfect finishing piece for the card. I just love these fonts featured in this stamp set. I have also used Wink of Stella on the beautiful Autumn leaf while the ink was still a bit wet, so I blended the colour together.

Thank you so much for reading my blog.
