Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Holly Stene ~ May all your Tomorrows

Welcome to another Crazy Crafters blog hop.
You may have popped along to my blog from somewhere else, if so HELLO!
If you are starting here, check out the list below of all the other blogs participating. There are some amazing projects all inspired by the beautifully talented Holly Stene from the USA.
She makes absolutely gorgeous projects and she is on the Stampin' Up! Artisan team.

I was inspired by the project below to recreate a card inspired by the Colour Theory suite of products from the brand new catalogue. I love this suite it is so beautiful and I love that it is suitable across the seasons.

Here's a look at a sample from the catalogue where you can see that this suite has Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer all covered.
The possibilities are endless. The suite features the beautiful Old Olive, Crushed Curry, new Berry Burst and Dapper Denim.
It also includes AMAZING glittered enamel dots. I can't get past those and I think I am going to hoard a million packets!

This is Holly's gorgeous project. You can see her blog post featuring this card here.

Here's a look at the card I made.
I was really inspired by her use of the Stitched Framelits dies but I really wanted to change it up and feature the brand new In Colour Berry Burst that is featured throughout this suite, so I decided to create a card based on not only my favourite flower...the cherry blossom but also one of my favourite seasons. Spring and Autumn are my personal favourite times of the year!

Here's a little close up of some of the features of the card. I have used gold embossing for the stamens  and teamed that with some Gold Glimmer paper to cut out a gorgeous gold tree branch from the matching dies that go along with this suite. How cute is that ombre paper too?
I am going to need another Designer Series Paper stack for sure! I love that it features ombre and pain crackle designs!

The card just wouldn't be finished unless I stamped and decorated the inside so I stamped a tree branch and added some left over flower cuts and stamps and added another sentiment stamped in Old Olive to the inside.

That's a great thing about this stamp set, it includes the most gorgeous sentiments and they are a nice large size, plus the phrases are just so unique!

I hope you have enjoyed my blog hop today and will check out the rest of the blogs linked below;

Happy Stamping!
