Frosted Floral - December Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog. You are visiting Kayla's blog from Tasmania, Australia.
This is my very last blog hop as a member of the 2018 Artisan Design Team, which is bittersweet as I will be sad to go, but happy for the amazing year I have had, the lifelong friendships that I have made, and the amazing new team about to start for 2019!

This blog hop we are sharing amazing projects featuring the ever so gorgeous Frosted Floral suite of products. Something really exciting about this suite is the bundle, stamps and framelits will be carrying over, so will still be available to purchase in the new year!

I have made a bit of a gift set as part of this hop today featuring a handmade card and a pillow box to pop a little additional gift in.

I hope you enjoy my post today and gather some inspiration using these products.

Scroll to the bottom of the post to see the brand new 2019 Artisan Design Team, and all the products I have used for today's post.

Here's a look at the two completed projects together.
I really enjoyed repeatedly stamping on the background in Mint Macaron with one of the gorgeous leafy stamps to create my won design which I then spritzed with a Stampin' Write marker.
I have used a cluster of both stamped and die cut elements from the bundle with the addition of the Joyeous Noel 6x6 Glimmer Paper.

The little Kraft Pillow Box was a fun addition to decorate along with the card to hold a small coordinating gift.

I have made his set of cards of general theme, with a bit of a 'congratulations' theme.
It would be great for a new graduate, someone that just completed something they had been striving for, such as a new job, or many other occasions.

Here's a close up look at the handmade card. As you can see from here, I added my very favourite Linen Thread and one of the Galvanised Metal Buttons from another suite. I loved the sweet handmade touch this gave the card, and added even more texture.

Here's a close up of the pillow box.
Here you can see that I have heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder which I just love with these colour tones and textures.
I just love the Tranquil Tide Velvet Ribbon, it adds even more fun and texture.

I can see myself using this suite lots and lots for many different occasions as it is just so versatile!

I hope that you enjoyed my projects today.

Making Christmas Bright ~ November Artisan Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to the November Artisan Blog Hop today. Today we are sharing some fun projects using the Merry Christmas To All and the Making Christmas Bright bundles. I have three cards to share with you today and I had a lot of fun creating these. I hope you can get some inspiration.

See below for links to all the Artisan Blogs and the cards I have created. I have linked the products I have used at the bottom of this post.

Here’s a look at the finished cards. I made three cards in total featuring this suite of products and could have made many more, with these gorgeous products. I really fell in love with that fun Christmas Light Bulb punch and can’t wait to make many strings of lights.

I kept the cards fairly simple and focuses on the gorgeous patterned papers and stamp sets. As you can see underneath I also made decorated envelopes to match and added All is Bright Designer Series Paper to the back envelope flap to make sure that they coordinate with the cards. I love making matching envelopes as I think, I spend all this time creating a handmade card that I may as well make a pretty envelope to match.

For the top two cards I focused on using the All is Bright bundle of products and the bottom card, I used the Merry Christmas to All bundle and focused on a large sentiment with gold embossing.

I hope you enjoyed looking at what I have created today with these two bundles of products, they were a lot of fun to work with.

Now you can pop along to the amazing Kim McGillis’s blog to see what she has created.

Thanks so much for popping by my blog today. I hope you got some inspiration from this hop to go and make some fun Christmas cards.

Happy stamping! Xx

Snowflake Showcase ~ Artisan Design Team Blog

Hello and welcome to another blog hop featuring the gorgeous Snowflake Showcase suite of products which are now live to everyone to order for this month only!

The Artisan team are sharing a whole heap of great ideas using this fantastic bundle in this hop, so be sure to hop along and get some inspiration for using these amazing products.

I will confess...I wasn’t much of a snowflake lover, but after playing with these products, I think it’s safe to say that I now am! And that White Velveteen paper is just Ah-MAZING!

Here’s a look at the completed set of two cards that I made. I really enjoyed combining these fun snowflake products with the really super awesome Champagne Mist and Frost White Shimmer Paint. On the left I actually stamped that card with the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint. It’s really easy to do - simply use a sponge dauber to apply the paint to the stamp and stamp away!

I also used the shimmer paint in one of our great Stampin’ Spritzer bottles to add some shimmer and shine to the card on the right on the basic black sentiment piece.

I added lots of embossing with the White Stampin’ Emboss Powder directly onto some Basic Black A4 Cardstock and love the bold look it gives the cards.

To top it off I added the gorgeous Snowflake Trinkets to each card.

Here’s a close up look at the finished cards....

And a look at the completed insert which I stamped with one of the snowflake stamps in Coastal Cabana. Both inserts in both cards are the same.

The next blog is the ever so lovely Kim McGillis with her gorgeous samples. Go and check out her gorgeous blog.
