Onstage April 2018 ~ Sydney Recap

I am finally back from an amazing two week holiday away in Sydney and Melbourne and have finally had a chance to go through all the amazing pictures I took while at the the Onstage conference releasing the latest and greatest Stampin' Up! catalogue and products with some really exciting announcements.
i am sorry it has taken me a while to get this update happening, but I was on holiday in Melbourne straight after my trip to Onstage with my lovely now fiancé.
Yep, that's the other exciting news.
While away my lovely partner Declan got down on one knee and proposed. I really am so lucky to have met the love of my life. He is so gorgeous and I can't wait to be his wife.
Just had to share that super exciting news with you.

Here's a picture taken just after he proposed, sipping on our celebratory glasses of champagne.

Ok so I took A LOT of photos, so I am going to do probably three parts to this Onstage reveal, here is part one.

Sydney DAY 1

I arrived in Sydney late on the Thursday night so my first day in Sydney was on the Friday. I arrived early because I was lucky enough to be picked as a volunteer to help set up Onstage which was super exciting as I got to hang out with the CEO Sara Douglass for the day and got to see lots of new and exciting things first.

Here I am on my way to the Onstage conference which was held at Luna Park in Sydney, which just happens to be right under the Sydney Harbour bridge so I made the most of it and got a quick snap!

I spent the Thursday night and Friday morning with the lovely Kim Oliver who is also from Tasmania and such an awesome, funny and very talented lady!

The highlight of my Friday was of course spending time with the lovely CEO Sara Douglass. This lady is such an inspiration and such a lovely warm hearted lady. I work for such an amazing company!

After setting up, I could have cried they gave us all an amazing handmade card, with a gift and it was signed by lots of amazing people including Sara herself. It really was a pleasure helping out.

Then came the exciting bit of the night.
I got to attend my very first CentreStage dinner (dinner for those Silver Elite and above)
I was so excited and thrilled to have reached this level and be able to attend one of these dinners.

Here's all of us that attended the Sydney CentreStage from the Crazy Crafters team. Gosh we had a blast!

Here's all of us from left to right (Sue Wdowick, Debbie Rolls, Nicole Bonar, Kylie Bertucci, myself, Kate Benade and Jessie Holton) enjoying our first look at the brand new annual catalogue that we got to see early!

I also received some amazing gifts from my managers Michelle Mills and Kylie Bertucci!
These ladies are amazing and this was such a gorgeous thoughtful thing for them to do.
The card on the left is from my direct manager Michelle Mills who sadly couldn't attend Onstage but sent this gift which had a beautiful gift voucher and an amazing card and lovely words. She is the bomb and best manager I could ask for!
The other two cards are from the lovely Kylie Bertucci. The middle card and gorgeous gift bag I received for achieving CentreStage with some beautiful words a gorgeous pair of Mimco earrings. I could have died they were so gorgeous!
The other card on the right was a gorgeous card she gifted to all her team that attended Onstage with some gorgeous Gold Faceted Gems and a personalised 'Crazy Crafters' lanyard.

I also received this stunning card from the lovely Jessie Holton, we both achieved Silver Elite at the same time and it was our first CentreStage dinner together. She is an amazing woman and is going to achieve amazing things!

Sydney Day Two

After the CentreStage dinner, the next day was the amazing Onstage event. WOW is about all I can say. We had an absolutely amazing day, got gifted so many amazing things and saw so many amazing new products!
It really does blow you away.

Here's a look at what I received for attending CentreStage and Onstage from Stampin' Up! It really does make the $120 registration to go SO WORTH IT!
We get rewarded so well for being demonstrators. It really is the best company to work for.
This is not even all of it really as I also get a free stamp set of my choice for attending CentreStage which I haven't chosen yet.
I can't wait to dig in and play with all this!

My amazing Onstage lanyard with personalised 'Crazy Crafters' lanyard. How cool is that? Kylie and Bruno even made personalised button badges to put on there.
The 'number 2' is what I received in my bag which is part of what Stampin' Up! call prize patrol. This number corresponds to a stamp set we win at the conference. I won the lovely 'Swirly Frames' that you can see below as part of the prize patrol.

Here's a look at the four free stamp sets that I received at Onstage.
The Animal Outing set came free in our registration bag for everyone.
The Detailed with Love stamp set I received at the end of the day when we shared the make and take box contents.
The Pick a Pennant set was an all attendee giveaway (everyone won this!)
and the Swirly Frames was my prize patrol giveaway.
How cool is it to receive brand new product?

A really exciting announcement that happened was the COLOUR REVAMP announcement. As part of Stampin' Up!'s 30 year celebration and because it was time for a colour update, they announced a colour revamp. I will post more details on this further down in the post!

This also shows the brand new give In Colours for 2018-2020. I am in LOVE!
From back to front they are; Grapefruit Grove, Blueberry Bushel, Pineapple Punch, Call me Clover and Lovely Lipstick.

Here's a look at the amazing Crazy Crafters Team together with the amazing Bruno.
We are such a 'crazy' and fun bunch!

Here's a look at my lovely table crafting away and having fun with NEW product.
Yep that's right, we actually got to get our hands inky and play with new goodies, it was so much fun. You can see what we made further down.

How cool doe this room look full of excitable and passionate crafters?

Here's a look at the gift that I received from the lovely Kylie and Bruno.

Here's a look at what we made during our make and take part of the conference.
I am actually missing one card as we met a lovely lady in Sydney who was an Uber driver and she was so gorgeous and lived next to where we were staying, I just had to write her a card as an act of kindness.

Our team leader Michelle Mills was missing so we took a photo of her team that was attending the conference to send to her. This is the Hello Daysies.
From left to right we have; Smriti, Jean, Linda, Jodie and myself.

Another really cool part of Onstage is the people that you meet, so I grabbed photos with a few.
This is the lovely Susan Wong (fellow Artisan team members) lovely Sister In Law. I just had to snap a photo to show Susan. She was a lovely lady!

One of my crafting/stamping besties that has known me since I was about 14/15 years old, Ellen Woodbridge. She is a darling and I love catching up with her every time there is a conference. She is amazing!

and of course the lovely and super amazing Renae. She is a bundle of laughs and is great!

I also met for the first time another lovely fellow Tasmanian demonstrator, the lovely Mae Collins.
It is so great to meet fellow Tasmanians, being such a small state in Australia.

And one of my actual besties and team members on my team, the lovely Jodie!
This was her second Onstage and she had a lot of fun. Of course we had to grab a picture together!

This was also Jodie and I outside the conference, they had this lovely photo prop and so we just had to grab a photo on it together.

Here's a look at the awesome (and yummy) celebratory cupcakes for Stampin' Up!'s 30th anniversary, which I snapped on the brand new Annual Catalogue.
You can see this catalogue online now if you join as a demonstrator OR from June 1st.

Now I want to chat to you about something exciting.
This is the colour revamp that I was talking to you about earlier.
So many exciting changes happening and this is one of them.
So here's the low down.
  • 5 In Colours are retiring (as usual)
  • 13 Core colours will be retiring
  • There will be 5 new In Colours (same as usual)
  • AND the exciting bit...16 new colours.
  • 10 of those colours will be brand new never seen before colours and 6 of those colours will be returning favourites (I am so excited about Mint Macaron and Coastal Cabana coming back!)
Here's a look at a visual representation of what this colour revamp will look like!

Some other exciting news is that we have a special promotion starting soon for customers and now for demonstrators. Would you like to get your hands on new product now and not wait until the new catalogue starts? The Share What You Love promotion is the perfect time to do this.
To celebrate Stampin' Up! and all that is celebrates about being a part of this amazing company and family of demonstrators, this is exactly what this suite of products represents.
You can get this all early AND better still you will be able to access FREEBIES just for pre-ordering and a special exclusive stamp.

Here's a sneak peek of the products I already have, well some of them as I've had some for a while for a special Artisan project and this stuff arrived while I was away on holiday so my sister snapped a picture for me as a tease....

Here's a look at the three special pre-order bundles that you can order along with all the brand new In Colour ink pads. New Colours anyone?

As you can see pre-ordering any of these bundles entitles you to special freebies, which are different for each bundle and only available during the pre-order period so it's best to get in quick and take advantage of this amazing special and they won't be available in these special bundles in the catalogue.
So order from May 1st - May 31st as a customer and get an amazing deal.

Ok so Onstage was done, we were un-winding and taking in all the amazing news from the day and so we went to a local pub for a meal and a drink (or two) with friends.
I can't put most of the pictures here from the night, because let's just say it was ummm....a really good night. Haha!
Can anyone say "Tequila"
Oh the memories you make....

Sydney Day Three

Ok so we were recovering from Onstage and all the excitement, plus a wee bit m much Tequila but we had an amazing opportunity to have morning tea and a team meeting with the lovely Kylie Bertucci AND Sara Douglass!
Wow! It was so amazing to have her attend one of our meetings and get to ask her one on one questions.

It makes me not regret for a second joining Stampin' Up! it still blows me away all the time!

The Crazy Crafters that attended the team meeting.

The lovely Sara Douglass and Kylie having a chat to us.

I got another picture with the lovely Sara. I love her top so much!

Then it was time to wind down at a local cafe and go through my catalogue, write notes and sticky notes all through the catalogue with a cup of coffee! Gosh I had a blast and there are so many amazing new things coming. I can't wait to show you!

Also EXCITING NEWS.
