Waterfront - Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Hello there and welcome to another monthly Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop.
This month we are featuring both the Waterfront and Southern Serenade Stamp Sets.
I just love the beautiful projects that the whole team have created using these two stamp sets that are carrying over to the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue - Yay!

I was given the assignment of creating with the Waterfront Photopolymer Stamp Set. I love this stamp set, it's one of my favourites that was released in the Occasions Catalogue as you can create such beautiful scenes with this set that really are stunning and it includes sentiments for a variety of different themes. There is a card for everything.

I actually gifted one of these cards to the lovely Sara Douglass at the recent Onstage event in Sydney to thank her for all the amazing things she does for us, and the amazing message she represents through Stampin' Up! and the amazing things we do and get to be a part of.

Here's a look at the set of four cards I made.

I also focused on the gorgeous Wood Textures Designer Series Paper that is also carrying over to the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue. I love this paper, it pretty much coordinates with anything! It's definitely a staple product to have in your craft room/desk for so many different craft projects.

I paired this with the gorgeous True Gentleman buttons also carrying over, some Gold Glimmer Paper and some beautiful Linen Thread.

These cards needed very little embellishment, as I wanted the focus to be on the gorgeous scenes I created using a few of the gorgeous Stampin' Up! Classic Ink Pads.

I also created some coordinating envelopes using a few of the stamps, I was able to really personalise these to match the cards so they are ready to go to some lovely people in the post!

Here's a close up of the first card that I made. I just love those cute little beach houses. They really are just the cutest. I featured the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper a lot on this card and even used some as an accent on the top left of the card and adhered down to the card with a staple.

I also accented and finished the card with the Metallics Sequin Assortment, choosing some copper sequins to finish off the card. I love adding sequins as they add the perfect little bit of sparkle and shine!

Here's a look at the personalised inside for the first card I made. I love these sentiments. They are really perfect for Random Acts of Kindness cards.

Here's a look at the second card I made using those gorgeous palm trees as a feature.
Whenever I think of palm trees I actually think of my older sister 'Tamara' as her name literally means 'palm tree' which is pretty cool! I think I might have to keep one of these palm tree cards up my sleeve to gift to her.

I paired this with a tiny little tag hand stamped using one of the sentiments from the stamp set and the tag I used was die cut from the really cute Bouquet Bunch Framelits Dies. I love this little tag for attaching tiny sentiments to cards.

Here's a look at the personalised inside of this card. I used the same sentiment as for the first card and added the cute palm trees. I have added a double layer insert to the insides of my cards with a layer of Early Espresso A4 Cardstock and some Whisper White Thick A4 Cardstock.

The third card I made I really wanted to use some 'darker' water for a nice and dark and bold ocean. I once again used those cute little beach houses but this time in some beautiful Tranquil Tide and Pacific Point ink colours. *please note that the Pacific Point colour will be retiring with the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue on May 31st.

I also added the sentiment on this card with a staple of mine in my crafting and that is the Stitched Shapes framelits. I placed this to the edge of my card and cut of the excess. I love these stitched shapes for a great 'basic' addition to most of my cards.

Here's a close up of the inside of the card where I stamped a line of three cute beach houses.

The last card I went down a different route and stamped some really cute 'mountains' in the beautiful Old Olive colour. I love this stamped with the Tranquil Tide trees, it really looks like a realistic scene.

I have used Crushed Curry to stamp the sun on all my cards as it is such a rich and true 'sun' colour. It's so warming and nice and bold on these cards.

I also used some Gold Glimmer, a Corrugated Element (oval shape) and some Basic Rhinestones to finish this card off.

I love the natural and rustic theme the Wooden Textures Designer Series Paper paired with the Linen Thread and True Gentleman Buttons gives the card. They all pair so well together.

Here's a look at the inside of the card where I used a mixture of Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand and Tranquil Tide to stamp a little tree scene at the bottom.

I hope you liked this look at this set of cards that I made using the gorgeous Waterfront Photopolymer Stamp Set which you can still purchase and will be able to purchase in the newly released Annual Catalogue. It's a beautiful stamp set that has so many possibilities.

I can't wait to continue making scenes and playing with this gorgeous set!
