June Go For Greece Blog Hop ~ You are The Greatest Card

Hello everyone and welcome to another Go For Greece Training Group Blog Hop!
You are visiting Kayla MacAulay's Blog from Tasmania, Australia.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and I am really excited to be part of this amazing hop with a great bunch of talented creators!

Today I am sharing a card I CASE'd from Stampin' Up!'s lovely samples they posted introducing the brand new Stampin' Up! colours.

I find CASE'ing sometimes a great start off point when playing with a new stamp set and I really loved the beautiful greens featured on the card they shared. This card uses the lovely Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce which are both brand new greens to the Stampin' Up! family.
I also played with a brand new stamp set bundle called Tropical Chic which features stunning tropical elements.

I hope you enjoy my post and card share today and be sure to check below for links to the rest of the amazing blogs that have taken part in this amazing hop.

Here's a look at the card that I made using a fun repetitive stamped background on white card stock using just one colour, Granny Apple Green. This is one of my favourites of the new colours!

I have used a strip of Shaded Spruce for the sentiment to really make it 'pop'.

I stamped the flowers in more new colours, Petal Pink and Lovely Lipstick and used a sponging technique to get the two toned flower.
To do this I inked up my stamp in petal pink and simply sponged the edges of the stamp using a Sponge Dauber in Lovely Lipstick.

Here's a look at the header for the great blog hop that I am taking part in today.

Here's a close up of my finished card. I accented the card with some Linen Thread which is my absolute favourite and I order more every time I place an order because I just can't get enough of it!
I also used the brand new Glitter Enamel Dots in the coordinating Granny Apple Green to accent my card. Because of the background I felt this card didn't need to much embellishment.

I have stamped and die cut a couple of the images using coordinating colours. One was stamped and one was simply die cut out of Granny Apple Green to layer.

Here's a look at the completed inside of my card. I always like to make a coordinating insert for the inside so once again stamped and added one of those gorgeous flowers with a coordinating sentiment from the stamp set. I love the font in those sentiments, it's gorgeous.

I hope you enjoyed my card I have shared today.
