My Lover ~ Scrapbook Page

Hi there everyone and thank you for stopping by my blog today.
Today I wanted to share yet another scrapbook page that I have created using a different suite as my inspiration.

I had this black and white photo of my partner playing guitar that I really wanted to make the focus of my page. One of the more masculine suites from the catalogue (Sail Away) was my feature for this page as I loved the blues in the paper.

I paired this was some accessories from the Come Sail Away Memories and More pack and added some texture with the stamps from the Artisan Textures stamp set.

Here's a look at the completed page.
I do apologise...I need to work on my method of photographing scrapbook pages, it's something I have not done in a long time.

I pulled in the Lined Alphabet for my title (my love) which I have coloured with Night of Navy Stampin' Blends. I love the ombre look this provides.

I stitched this title down with some thicker thread on my sewing machine.

Here's a close up which shows both my journalling and also some of my embellishing.
My favourite part of scrapbooking is adding little embellishing touches to my page.
I loved the Memories & More pack for both the stickers and the gorgeous journalling block.

I added a stamp from the Forever Lovely stamp set (listed below). This is actually the sentiment that I am using on our wedding invites *wink* sneak peek of those will come soon.

I added the gorgeous anchor from the Sail Away Trinkets as Declan really is my anchor, so this was a great representation of my love for him.

Here you can see some more embellishing and some spritzing that I did with the Night of Navy Stampin' Write Marker. I also added some gorgeous Pretty Peacock Sequins from the Woven Thread Sequin Assortment.

I added some of the gorgeous Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine, knotting this on the ends for some added texture.

I love documenting these memories to treasure for a life time.
