Free as a Bird ~ Best Friends Card

Hello and welcome back to my blog.
Today I want to share a cute little friendship card that I made using the Free as a Bird bundle and those gorgeous Stitched Nested labels.

I was really inspired to create with that gorgeous Bird Ballad DSP! In fact there is little stamping on this card, just the sentiment and some leaves in the background!
I cut the bird straight from the Bird Ballad DSP!

I was really loving the Pretty Peacock 6x6 Designer stack and wanted to feature this gorgeous gingham print on the background and love how it coordinates with the colours in the Bird Ballad suite....

Here you can  see the finished card.
I decided to go with a friendship theme, because I just love this "we're the best of friends" stamp and have so many gorgeous people that I could send this to!

I embellished with one of the Bird Ballad Trinkets, some Basic Pearls and some of the gorgeous Old Olive thread from the Magnolia Lane suite. It ties in beautifully!

Here's a close up of the finished card where you can see all the detail.
I did cut the nested label from the printed paper also, so you get that double stitched look and placed the white one cut from Whisper White cardstock in the gap.

I did also used the Stitched Rectangle dies to create a base for my sentiment to go on.

I couldn't have a naked inside, so I went and added some coordinating stamps and a sentiment to finish  it off.

I hope you enjoyed seeing this card today.

You Mean Everything To Me ~ Scrapbook Page

Hello and welcome back to my blog.
Today I am sharing something with you that has recently become a love of mine again and that is scrapbooking!
I love documenting memories, especially special ones like these.

I have this photo of my parents taken by my talented sister who is a photographer and I really could not wait to make it pretty with some of the gorgeous Stampin' Up! products.

I used the Bird Ballad suite of products as my inspiration and pulled some of the gorgeous Designer Series Papers to create some fun background love and also die cut some of the gorgeous birds and flowers as fun accents!
I love the possibilities with our gorgeous papers!

To create the strip with pink and white polka dot piece, I simply cut a strip roughly two inches wide and then also punched a strip with bright yellow paper from the same suite with the Decorative Ribbon Border punch to create a fun scalloped piece for both sides. You can see this punch linked below and a close up picture of this below.
I then stitched the border with  my sewing machine for some added texture.

I have embellished the page with a variety of things, including some fun texture added with the stencils and Shimmery Embossing Paste and then added some Basics Sequins and some cork pieces from the Magnolia Lane suite. I added some Linen Thread and then one of our fun Pearlized Doilies.

I have finished up with some Burlap Trim and added some journalling with my typewriter which I am just loving at the moment.

The fun texture you can see here too is stamped from the Magical Mermaid stamp set and some Petal Pink ink. I also added a stamp 'You Mean Everything to Me' from the A Little Lace stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed seeing another one of my scrapbook pages.
I am slowly but surely filling up my album to share and keep memories alive forever.
Get those memories onto paper!

Daisy Lane ~ Friendship Notecards

Hello and welcome back to my blog once more.

Today I am sharing with you a set of notecard I made using our gorgeous new Scalloped Edge Notecards.
These are super fun cards and make card making really simple, and they come in four gorgeous colours.

I really wanted to make some friendship cards, as I am always sending out 'just because' cards and I wanted to highlight this gorgeous daisy!

Here's a look at the completed set of four notecards.
I have made each card the same, the only difference is the coloured notecard and different patterned paper strips along the bottom which I have pulled from the Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper collection.

This notecard features the Old Olive notecard.
I have stamped the little daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set repeatedly across the background tone on tone as a bit of a background image.

I then stamped the word 'friend' from the same stamp set in Versamark on black and heat embossed in white. This really helps to emphasise my white daisy.

This is the Balmy Blue notecard and I love the contrast of this colour with the white.

I have embellished these notecards with the Perennial Essence Floral Centres which I just love and have been through a couple of packets of these already!
I then added some fun sequins and added a Basic Rhinestone to the centre.

This is the Powder Pink notecard and adds a really soft and feminine feel.

I have added some of the Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle and the White Flax Ribbon to each of the cards behind my daisy fo ra bit of added texture.

Lastly this is the Terracotta Tile notecard.

I have finished off all of my cards with an additional stamp from the Daisy Lane stamp set which says 'It's your time to shine'. I can't wait to send these to my near and dear!

Here's a close up of all the finished cards.

As you can see they also come with fun coloured coordinating envelopes.

I can't wait to send these to special people in my life.

You can see all the products I have used and links to my store below where you can shop all the supplies to make these cards for yourself.
I hope you enjoyed this post today.

Happy crafting. xx
