You Mean Everything To Me ~ Scrapbook Page

Hello and welcome back to my blog.
Today I am sharing something with you that has recently become a love of mine again and that is scrapbooking!
I love documenting memories, especially special ones like these.

I have this photo of my parents taken by my talented sister who is a photographer and I really could not wait to make it pretty with some of the gorgeous Stampin' Up! products.

I used the Bird Ballad suite of products as my inspiration and pulled some of the gorgeous Designer Series Papers to create some fun background love and also die cut some of the gorgeous birds and flowers as fun accents!
I love the possibilities with our gorgeous papers!

To create the strip with pink and white polka dot piece, I simply cut a strip roughly two inches wide and then also punched a strip with bright yellow paper from the same suite with the Decorative Ribbon Border punch to create a fun scalloped piece for both sides. You can see this punch linked below and a close up picture of this below.
I then stitched the border with  my sewing machine for some added texture.

I have embellished the page with a variety of things, including some fun texture added with the stencils and Shimmery Embossing Paste and then added some Basics Sequins and some cork pieces from the Magnolia Lane suite. I added some Linen Thread and then one of our fun Pearlized Doilies.

I have finished up with some Burlap Trim and added some journalling with my typewriter which I am just loving at the moment.

The fun texture you can see here too is stamped from the Magical Mermaid stamp set and some Petal Pink ink. I also added a stamp 'You Mean Everything to Me' from the A Little Lace stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed seeing another one of my scrapbook pages.
I am slowly but surely filling up my album to share and keep memories alive forever.
Get those memories onto paper!

So good! I like the design of the frame which you have made. It is always better when such, close to you, things are hand-made, not bought in a store.
