Noble Peacock Bundle ~ You Are Incredible Card

Hello lovely blog readers and happy Monday!
Another week, another big and hectic week I am sure!
I hope that wherever you are in the world that you are safe - and managed to get some crafting into your weekend - for me I was at work all weekend - but here is to my quieter week and coming up to my days off.

Today I have a special card to share with you and it is special because it uses one of my favourite things....PEACOCKS!
With the last release of the last annual catalogue there was a gorgeous suite released called the Noble Peacock Suite. It is one of my all time favourites!

I love the Mini Catalogue, but I was missing time with some of my favourites from the annual catalogue so I pulled this guy back out for a play.

I really wanted to have a play with an in-laid die cutting technique and some Pigment Sprinkles, and yep it was messy - but boy it was fun!!!

I have started with a Pretty Peacock portrait style card base and added a layer of Basic Black and then cut another layer of Thick Whisper White.
From this Whisper White piece I have cut out the detailed peacock image.

I have also cut a smaller layer (than the white) from Shimmery White Cardstock and on this piece I went crazy with the Pigment Sprinkles in Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay to create a fun and arty piece that would then go behind my peacock.
The important thing is that you want this piece to be smaller than the Whisper White layer so that you cannot see this piece. I have then laid the Pigment Sprinkled piece (once it's dry) centred on the Basic Black layer. Onto of this I have added the die cut Whisper White piece with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Once this is place and adhered to the card base, you can then lay the die cut peacock back into the 'hole' left behind.

It sounds really complicated, but I promise it's not. It's really fun!

Here you can see a detailed image of the card with all the elements that I have embellished with.
I have added some of that gorgeous Pretty Peacock/Old Olive Reversible Ribbon.
Honestly you do not want to know how much of that ribbon I went through on my wedding invites last year - it's gorgeous!

I have then added one of the pretty Best Dressed Tassels in Pretty Peacock (however I have trimmed it down a little - just with my paper snips).

I have also added some die cut foliage from the coordinating Noble Peacock dies in both Pretty Peacock and a piece cut from Fluid 100 Watercolour paper that I coloured with Pigment Sprinkles Also.

I have then added a sentiment heat embossed on black in white embossing powder.

Of course I also had to add some Noble Peacock Rhinestones and some Wink of Stella spritzes!

Here's the decorated inside of the card where I have added a sentiment and some of the gorgeous Noble Peacock DSP with some of the beautiful Copper Washi Tape from the Tags & Accessories Kit.

All in all I think it shows just how much I love peacocks!!!

This really is a must have suite!
