Butterfly Wishes + So Sentimental ~ Watercolour Card ~ Demo Training Blog Hop

Hello lovelies!
Welcome to my blog and I can't wait to share what I have made today.
Today's blog post is part of the fabulous Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Monthly Blog Hop.
Be sure to check below for a link to all the blogs that have taken part in today's amazing hop!

Today I was really inspired to watercolour and so the starting point for this card was just taking a piece of Shimmery Cardstock and getting some of my favourite colours and an Aqua Painter and literally going to town!
I have used a mish mash of Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana Classic Inks and I just LOVE them all together. I have used an Aqua Painter loaded with water and blended them a little between.
I did use a fair bit of water, so did have to let it dry for some time - but I love the end result.

Be sure to scroll to the bottom where I have listed all the products I have used, all of which are available in my store here.

Here's a look at the finished card.
My card base is cut from Pacific Point. This is actually a colour that I have recently fallen in love with and just love love love! I keep adding it into all sorts of colour combinations and it's so rich and beautiful!

Here's a little look at my colour combination...

I have used a couple of stamp sets to create this card including the stunning Butterfly Wishes Stamp Set for my butterflies and then the fabulous So Sentimental Stamp Set for that gorgeous sentiment which I have heat embossed in white on some Basic Black Cardstock.

Here's a look at all the other fabulous blogs that have taken part in today's blog hop:

Here's a close up look at the finished card where you can see some of the details that I have added.
You can't tell too well from the photo but I have added my usual Wink of Stella spritzes! Just had to of course.

I have then added a touch of Gold Glimmer Paper underneath my sentiment and used some Peaceful Poppies Sequins in Gold to accent this.

I have then finished the card up with some Linen Thread and a gorgeous Best Dressed Tassel which I have partially coloured with a Dark Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blend.

I LOVE these tassels....I may have now used several packs of them!

Here's a look at the finished inside of my card which I have kept simple with just layers of Basic Black and Whisper White with that gorgeous butterfly from the Butterfly Wishes Stamp Set stamped in a mixture of; Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point Inks.

I hope that you enjoyed my card share today and got some inspiration to get creative at a time like now when we should be at home in front of our craft desks!
