Grace's Garden ~ Hello Card

Happy Monday lovely crafty souls!
I hope that you have an amazing week planned.
I am on a day off from my 'other' job today and close to going on a couple of weeks of annual leave...guess what that means....CRAFT TIME!

Today I have a fun card to share with you that was inspired by a sample that I saw in the front of the Mini Catalogue
I took it in my own direction and changed it up a bit...added some 'Kayla' to it and so happy with it!

Be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post to see links and a list of all the products I have used to create today's project, all of which are available in my store here.

Here's a look at the finished card.
Notice all the Crumb Cake? It's one of my go to neutrals. I just love it!

I have been really gravitating towards tone on tone layering lately, especially when it comes to the neutral colours.

I have chosen to go to town with my Stampin' Blends and have used many colours on this card. See the product list below to check out the colours I have used .
The fence was coloured using a combination of Soft Suede and Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. I just kept blending the two in shades of dark and light until I was happy with the result.

Do you want to know something else exciting? This bundle Grace's Garden is carrying over to the new Annual Catalogue that goes live on the 3rd of June.

P.s see that beautiful splattering? I actually used a Rococo Rose Stampin' Write Marker.
Thanks Dena Rekow for that! She taught me to LOVE splattering!

Here's a close up of the finished card where you can see some of the detail and dimension.
I have used the Subtle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for the Crumb Cake layer on the card and it just adds a little extra something.

I have also used some Gold Glimmer behind my 'Hello' sentiment.
I must admit I am so so sad that Gold Glimmer is not carrying over to the new Annual Catalogue as those that know me know that it is like my FAVOURITE thing ever.
But when we say goodbye to things, it just means we are saying hello to new things and that's what we have to keep in mind.

On the background foliage and flowers on my card I have used Fluid 100 paper and watercolored these with an Aqua Painter and some Rococo Rose and Granny Apple Green Stampin' pads. I wasn't perfect with my colouring by any means...watercolour is suppose to be messy!

Here's a look at the decorated inside of my card where I have added some additional coloured images that were die cut with their coordinating dies.
I have also added a flower cut from Rococo Rose from the coordinating Grace's Garden dies.
I have then added a sentiment from the stamp set stamped in Rococo Rose.

I hope you enjoyed a look at a fun card made with the awesome Grace's Garden bundle today.
This bundle I believe is still on backorder, but it will be available again soon! I promise!
