Stampin’ Up! All Things Fabulous ~ Hello Card

Hey guys!
Happy weekend. I hope that whatever your plans are, you are having a lovely weekend & maybe even getting some fun crafty time!

Today I am popping by (late I know!) to share a card with you today that I finished off this weekend.
I really wanted to play with some new DSP and the awesome Playful Alphabet dies with our brand new Foam Adhesive sheets.

I got out the gorgeous new Whale of a Time DSP and had a play with just make a 'hello' pop out sentiment. This is super easy to do with these dies and our fabulous new Foam Adhesive Sheets!

See the bottom of this post for links to all these new products I have used, all of which are available in my store here.

Here's a look at my finished card.
Fun fact: My six year old son Elijah chose the background pattern for this card, as he just wanted to 'participate'. So we will call this an 'Elijah' card.
I had no plans whatsoever when creating this card, other than I wanted to do the inlaid die-cutting technique (die cutting an image from a background and then placing it back into the negative space with our awesome brand new Foam Adhesive Sheets.
These Playful Alphabet dies are PERFECT for this technique! and super easy!

I picked my pattern and then die cut the 'Hello' from the background - being sure to keep all the pieces.
I have then die cut all the letters from the Foam Adhesive Sheets and stuck them back into the negative spaces (which I matted on some Basic Black Cardstock) - I then applied the patterned paper cut outs right back over the top! Super easy and fun!

Here's a close up of my finished card.
I have chosen to decorate with the super gorgeous All Things Fabulous bundle which I have stamped in multiple colours of; Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral, Magenta Madness, Granny Apple Green and Memento Black.
This stamp set may look a bit daunting at first, but the sheet actually comes numbers so you know what flower goes with what and when to stamp them as they are labelled "A" "B" "C" etc...
Stampin’ Up! take the guess work out of it for us!

I have then embellished with some of the gorgeous gold trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack. I love this stuff and have been through two rolls now!!

I have also added some Wink of Stella spritzes and a fun sentiment from the All Things Fabulous Stamp Set heat embossed in white on Basic Black Cardstock.

Here's a look at the inside of my card with simple layers of Basic Black and Whisper White and a leftover flower and simple stamped sentiment with a strip of the leftover DSP.

I hope you got some inspiration from today's card share.
