Stampin’ Up! ~ Field of Flowers ~ Kylie's International Blog Highlights

Hey lovelies! Thanks for popping by my blog today.
I have something really exciting to tell you all...yesterday I reached 300,000 blog hits which was a personal goal of mine.
That is a huge THANK YOU to all of you that pop by my blog because I have been aiming to really increase my reach wide and far....and even more exciting - I have something in the works --- but that's a surprise..for now *wink*

Today I am excited to be bringing a card to you all that I have made for the lovely Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights.
This is a monthly blog hop that Kylie runs and it features cards made by demonstrators all over the world! It's always an amazing hop full of amazing creations from so many amazing paper crafters!
You can see this month's blog hop here, or click the link at the bottom of this post.

Be sure to check the bottom of this post where I have listed all the products that I have used in today's post, all of which are available to purchase in my store here.

Here's a look at my card this month and can you tell that I am just loving the new Magenta Madness In Colour? It really does just make a card POP!

I was really wanted to use bright colours on this card, which lets face is - isn't that uncommon for a 'Kayla' card. I decided to combine it with a few of my favourite colours which I have shown below....

Funnily enough, this blog hop actually slipped my mind and when Kylie put up a reminder I had about 10-15 minutes to create a card before I lost light to photograph it - this card was easy enough that I managed to put it together in 10 minutes.
How cool is that!

I think it's partly because I had a thought in my head - went with it and WHAM! It came together.

I created a fun double stitched frame which is super easy when you use the Stitched Rectangle Dies. These are a must have staple in every craft stash! They make the coolest frames!

I have then used the inside layering die and cut in white to use as my inlaid piece which I have stamped with the Field of Flowers Stamp Set.

The base layer of Magenta Madness I actually embossed with our gorgeous new Tasteful Textures Embossing Folder.
This is a gorgeous folder, and is up there as one of my new favourites with the Subtle Embossing Folder.

Here's a close up look at the finished card where you can see some of the detail.
The really fun thing about this bundle is that it comes with an adorable flower border punch and it makes these CUTE flowers. They make adorable little accents for cards and I have just added some rhinestones to the centre.

I have added some Wink of Stella (of course)
and also a fun bow which I have used the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack and chose the Whisper White Ribbon. This ties beautiful bows! You could even colour it with Stampin' Blends if you didn't want to keep it white.

Here's a look at the inside of my card which I have kept simple with layers of Basic Black and Whisper White with some additional stamping from the Field of Flowers Stamp Set.

I hope you got some inspiration from today's rather BRIGHT card.
Be sure to go and check out all the other cards in today's hop.

Kayla, I don't have either the stamp set or the embossing folder and I didn't think I wanted them. Guess what my next order is going to be!!! :)

Your card made me smile and made me reconsider getting that stamp set. It is now on my list of must haves.
